Hello Pepperell residents,

I am running for the vacant selectmen’s seat and asking for your vote on November 18, 2019. I thought I would give a little biography of myself so you can get to know who I am.

I grew up in the small town of West Stockbridge in Berkshire County Ma. My wife and I moved to East Pepperell (01437) in 1977. We have raised our three children here. We love this town and we love its people.

I worked for the town of West Stockbridge highway department and for a tree service company to put myself through college. I graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a degree in electronics. After college I worked at Gen-Rad in Concord MA, primarily on sound analysis equipment, and part time at Parlee Lumber in Littleton MA. I enjoyed the forestry service industry and decided that was my calling. In 1975 I started Radwich Land Clearing, which I still own and operate today.

I was active in the Scouting program when my boys were young. I am a 2-term past President of the Pepperell Business Association (PBA). While President we raised funds for the purchase of the Railroad Square clock and the benches at the Bandstand on the town field. I am currently on the town’s Forest committee and the Light, Air and Noise (LAN) committee.

I have been a member of the Lions Club for 10 years. I am the current treasurer. We recently had a very successful fund raising event at the Pepperell Fall Classic soccer tournament. Funds raised during the year go to the Lion’s eye research which we donated over $10,800 last year. We also donate back to Pepperell baseball/softball, scholarships and people in need just to name a few. It is a great organization that I am proud to be a member of.

I can be reached a votejoeradwich@gmail.com or 978-433-9968. I look forward to serving the community if elected.
